John P. Reinhart is an award-winning healthcare innovator, investor, and C-level operator with more than 35 years of experience building, scaling, and advising transformative businesses at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and aging. His career spans venture-backed and public companies, with deep focus on digital health, longevity innovation, AgeTech, and value-based care delivery models.
John currently serves as Executive in Residence at the National Institute on Aging (NIH), where he is lead advisor for digital health and AgeTech ventures awarded SBIR grants and a curriculum developer and instructor for NIA’s Healthy Aging Accelerator. He also serves as Entrepreneur in Residence at BioHealth Innovation, advising ventures connected to the NIA, ARPA-H, and Korea SMEs (KOSME).
A serial entrepreneur, John is Co-Founder and President of Academic Platforms, which delivers pre-licensure Nurse Aide and Med Aide training through a hybrid online model in exclusive partnership with AHCA. He is Co-Founder, Board Member, and Treasurer of the Thrive Innovation Center, a nonprofit advancing the commercialization of AgeTech and health tech solutions, and a co-founder of wellness ventures Nirvanta Health and Extract Wellness. Earlier, he founded InnovateLTC, the first global innovation accelerator focused on AgeTech and the post-acute sector, and scaled transitional care and geriatric NP/PA services across the Southeastern U.S. as CEO of Integritas LTC / Signature Medical Partners. His executive career includes serving as EVP of the Clinical Solutions Group at Allscripts (now Veradigm) and as President & COO of Advanced Imaging Concepts, where he led the company’s EMR product to acquisition by Allscripts.
A CPA and published thought leader, John is a co-author of book chapters on population health and accountable care, a contributor to McKnight’s, and a sought-after speaker at venues including the What’s Next Longevity Venture Summit. His honors include the NIA Director’s Award, E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year, and Business First Healthcare Heroes “Health Entrepreneur.” He holds an executive MBA from the University of Miami, a BS in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, a CNA certificate from Spalding University, and a certificate in AI in Health Care from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
