Passionate about impacting lives of all ages through innovative and purposeful design, Tama Duffy Day is a celebrated designer, speaker, author, and podcast host. As a principal and global leader of Gensler’s Senior Living practice, her work challenges conventional spaces, reimagining them for an age-inclusive world that celebrates longevity. Tama’s work spans the globe, but she remains committed to local impact, as well: she’s a member of the Washington, D.C., Mayor’s Age-Friendly Task Force and is board president for Capitol Hill Village. 

Featured in Forbes, Fast Company, and Interior Design Magazine, she also serves on the advisory boards for the Healthcare Facilities Symposium, Marymount University, and Medical Construction & Design Magazine. Tama is one of the few design professionals inducted as a fellow into the American College of Healthcare Executives, and she constantly nudges those around her to imagine the creative, connected, and vibrant ways they can live their 100-year lives.
